How Can I Help?
Be a Volunteer: SkillsNET Foundation can always use dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of at-risk children and families..
On-Site Volunteer: Some of the work done by volunteers is to tutor a youth in computer skills, to teach a class for unemployed adults on conducting a job search, to provide help desk services or to assist in other ways with the direct provision of services to clients.
“Virtual” Volunteer: If you are not in our area, but have a home computer with internet access, you can still be a very significant volunteer. A virtual volunteer can help with graphics for promotional materials or with proof-reading of documents. This role becomes more important as we grow and are building our client and donor base.
For more information on being a SkillsNET volunteer, (on site or by internet) or for information on agencies in your community, please email: volunteer@skillsnet.org.
Be a Project Partner: SkillsNET Foundation is looking to for advocacy partners in faith-based ministries and non-profit human service organizations to support our children and families initiatives. CLICK HERE to read more information on proposed projects. For more information, or to submit a project partner proposal, please email: projects@skillsnet.org
Be a Donor: As a 501 C3, not-for-profit organization, the Foundation is dependent on public support from individuals and businesses to offer free services, or services at a discounted rate. If you believe in the purpose and mission of our organization, and would like to support the Foundation with a tax deductible contribution, please email: donate@skillsnet.org.
Many States require charities soliciting funds within a State to register with the State agency responsible for regulating charities. The SkillsNET Foundation is registered in each State where it is required to do so. The SkillsNET Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
